Kirk W. Noraian, DDS, MS is a highly qualified periodontist with certifications in a wide variety of fields and specializations within the field of dentistry. Dr. Noraian has a holistic philosophy when it comes to patient care, with a focus on the patient’s overall health and wellness. His passion for patient care is the common thread throughout every aspect of the practice.

When you become a patient at our practice, we receive your dental health information from your general dentist, and then gather the additional information we need to provide you with the necessary care to restore your oral health. We provide the following periodontal procedures:
- Dental Implant Therapy. Dental implants can replace missing or damaged teeth with fully functional prosthetics. We proved dental implant preparation, placement, and repair.
- Saving Teeth. Our ultimate goal is to save your natural teeth, when possible. Through the use of laser dentistry we provide surgical and non-surgical procedures more comfortably for patients.
- Surgical Periodontal Care. Surgical procedures provide treatment and repair damage from gum disease and other oral health conditions. Periodontal surgery can also prepare the jaw for dental implants.
- Non-Surgical Periodontal Care. Non-surgical procedures may be used to treat gum disease, such as scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance.
- Cosmetic Periodontal Surgery. Cosmetic periodontal procedures either remove or replace gum tissue in order to achieve a more natural looking smile.
- Pre-Prosthetic Procedures. Some preparation may be needed before the placement of dental prosthetics, such as crown lengthening and bone grafting.
- Sedation Dentistry. Sedation can make periodontal procedures more comfortable and relaxing, especially for those who are anxious or nervous about receiving dental treatment.
- Orthodontic Patients. In some cases orthodontic treatment may need to be accompanied by periodontal procedures in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
Kirk W. Noraian, DDS, MS leads our practice with the utmost skill and expertise. He is a certified instructor for the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, teaching the LANAP and LAPIP protocols and is published on the LAPIP protocol.
Before specializing in periodontics at Northwestern University, Dr. Noraian completed the General Practice Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he learned the integral role of dentistry in the overall healthcare of his patients. He has a holistic philosophy on managing patient care. Dr. Noraian is a past Trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology and a Member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and McLean County Dental Society.
Dr. Noraian was honored to be a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He speaks three languages: English, Spanish, and Armenian.
